Bank of Baroda (BOB) has invited online applications for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 2,700 training seats are available across states and union territories. This post summarises eligibility, selection process, stipend, application steps, state-wise distribution highlights and important guidelines.

Eligibility & Training

  • Age (as on 01.11.2025): 20 to 28 years (relaxations as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
  • Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Training Duration: 12 months (On-the-Job Training).
  • Registration: Mandatory registration on NATS and/or NAPS portals before applying.
  • Candidates who have worked for 1 year or more after qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship.

Selection Process

The selection includes:

  1. Online Examination (Objective – 60 minutes; total 100 marks; no negative marking)
    • General/Financial Awareness — 25 Q — 25 marks
    • Quantitative & Reasoning — 25 Q — 25 marks
    • Computer Knowledge — 25 Q — 25 marks
    • General English — 25 Q — 25 marks (English medium)
  2. Document Verification
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (as per state applied for). Candidates with 10th/12th Marksheet showing studied local language may be exempted from the test.
  4. Medical Fitness

Merit lists and allotments are State-wise and Category-wise. Waitlist will be valid for 1 year or till next engagement exercise.

Stipend & Contract

Stipend: ₹15,000 per month for the 12-month training period. No other allowances apply.

Contract: Apprentices will receive a digital apprenticeship contract through the apprenticeship portals which they must accept within stipulated time. Apprentices are trainees — not regular bank employees — and completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment.

  1. Register on NATS and/or NAPS.
  2. Search for the Bank of Baroda apprenticeship opportunity and apply.
  3. Complete the final “Application cum Examination Form” after receiving email from info@bfsissc.com and pay the examination fee.
  4. Keep your Enrolment ID (NATS) and Apprentice Registration Code (NAPS) safe for future reference.

Local Language & Document Checklist

The recruitment includes a local language proficiency test specific to the State/UT applied for. A 10th/12th mark sheet showing studied local language may exempt candidates from the test.
