Total Vacancies: 750
Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – ₹85,920 (plus DA, HRA/Leased accommodation, CCA, medical, retirement benefits as per Bank rules)
Eligibility — At a glance
- Nationality: Citizen of India (or eligible categories such as subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, PIOs with certificate)
- Age (as on 01.07.2025): 20 – 30 years (relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-SM as per rules)
- Education: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institution (result declared on or before 23.11.2025)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Clerical/Officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (for advance increments eligibility)
- Local Language: Proficiency (read/write/speak) in the state’s specified local language is mandatory — LLPT will be conducted if not studied in 10th/12th.
Selection Process
The selection is conducted in four phases:
- Online Written Test — Objective test with negative marking (1/4th mark penalty for wrong answers). Sections: Reasoning & Computer, Data Analysis & Interpretation, English, Quantitative Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness.
- Screening — Document verification & eligibility check.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) — Qualifying in nature for reading, writing & speaking. Candidates who studied local language in 10th/12th are exempt on production of evidence.
- Personal Interview — 50 marks (minimum qualifying 50% for general, 45% for SC/ST).
Final merit: Combined marks of Online Written Test + Interview (subject to LLPT qualification and document verification). Merit lists are prepared state-wise and category-wise.

Note: Minimum qualifying marks per section — 40% for General/EWS; 35% for Reserved categories (subject to bank’s discretion).

Key conditions & other points
- Selected candidates serve a probation of 2 years and an indemnity bond requiring 3 years of service (or pay ₹2,00,000 if leaving earlier).
- CIBIL score of 680+ required at joining (not a pre-condition to apply).
- Placement will be within the state applied to, for 9 years or until promotion to SMG Scale IV.
- Bring original documents at Interview; failure to produce documents will lead to disqualification.
